PALM SPRINGS
RACQUET CLUB ESTATES
Amid the desert backdrop, this total home renovation took a fresh lens to mid-century design. DAMA transformed the iconic 1,400 square foot, 3-bedroom William Krisel 1960’s classic into a 2,000 square foot, 4-bedroom retreat. Drawing inspiration from mid-twentieth-century Danish design, which was heavily influenced by the Bauhaus movement, DAMA carefully preserved the home’s mid-century bones and iconic post and beam construction, while incorporating elements that reflected simplicity, functionality, and luxurious materials. The design approach embraces natural materials like walnut, ceramics, and organic stones, blending these elements seamlessly into the desert landscape. The project reflects a love for design, blending sophistication, functionality, and family-friendly features in a space.
